Here are a few pictures showing various details of the Underside and Engine Compartment.
Here are a few pictures showing one of the New Products that has resulted from this Project. Every vehicle with a recessed Air Cleaner Lid Seal can benefit from this new item. It is an exact replacement to the originals that are often dry rotted or damaged, due to heat and chemical exposure. They come in 5 foot lengths which allows plenty of material for most any application. These will also work for many of the other vehicle Manufacturers that used the same type of recessed Air Cleaner Lid Seal. They can be trimmed to a desired length and are 100% correct in foam density and material composition.
As stated in an earlier post, the Air Cleaner Element had been one of the more difficult parts to locate. Here are a couple of photos with the unit in place. Even when the Air Cleaner Lid is assembled on the Housing base, the signature “round” screen holes can still be seen through the side openings.
Here are a few of photos showing the NOS Fram Air Filter Element that was sent to me by my Friend Steven Juliano. It was ironic that of all the hardships we’ve encountered, this part was the most difficult for me to find. Of all the OE Restorations I have been involved with, this air element was nowhere to be found. I give a loud shout out and sincere “Thank You” to Steven for his kindness and generosity. When it comes to original parts, he’s the Man.
These photos are in response to a recent inquiry about our Voltage Regulators. Below are progression photos showing our restored NOS units. (Also shown is a Factory blue-print of Chrysler Voltage Regulators.) Over the past few years, I have accumulated a large quantity of NOS Chrysler Voltage Regulators. I strip them of their old weathered paint, re-paint them with a high-heat enamel that matches the Factory black finish and then ink stamp them with the correct Chrysler artwork. The end result is an original unit that looks brand new!
